Site Admin Update Post!

As many of you will be aware, I recently launched www.theclubhouse.blog over on the Substack platform. I am currently in the process of transferring golf-specific content from thoughtsfromthetrain.com to the new site. That will mainly be done using URL redirects, but there is a bit of a quirk with WIX that requires posts to be moved to draft (and sometimes republished) for those redirects to work. You may therefore receive some additional email traffic from me as a result, but I will do my best to keep it as limited as possible. Hopefully, all of the original content will be able to remain on this site, too, rather than being unpublished or moved to draft.

Readership on www.thoughtsfromthetrain.com broadly fell into two categories - those who wanted the golf content and those who wanted everything else. As the site was getting increasingly golf-themed, I thought it was best to split that content off into its own site, hence www.theclubhouse.blog. The original site will now be reserved for personal content only, which was the main reason for starting it - my thoughts about life, philosophy, books, occasional poetry, etc. Essentially, public journaling!

Thanks for sticking with me, and I look forward to continuing to publish on both sites.
